Keaghan Jacobs has signed for Championship part-timers Arbroath following his departure from Livingston. The 32-year-old is the Lions' current record appearance holder, having played 309 times for the West Lothian club, but ended his time there last week.Jacobs made his debut for Livi in 2007 and went on to spend much of the next 15 years at the club - bar an 18-month spell with Bidvest Wits in South Africa and a stint on loan at Falkirk last season.A foot injury sustained at the end of the 2019/20 campaign saw him miss the entire 2020/21 season.
He returned last term to make three substitute appearances before seeking game time elsewhere and signing on loan with the Bairns. In a series of social media posts earlier this week, Jacobs said an emotional farewell to Livi, posting: "Where do I start!?
It’s been 1 hell of a rollercoaster with many lows but so many amazing highs. From making my debut, to playing in the same team as all my bros, to winning leagues and cups, getting promotion to the premier league and playing in the premier league. "I've loved every single minute of it.
Id like to thank all the managers, coaches, staff and players that have been involved and helped me through my time at Livi, it’s really appreciated!
