dailyrecord.co.ukLinlithgow and District 41 Club members met at Linlithgow Golf Club for their annual quiz.Five teams participated in what proved to be both a fun and challenging test of their general knowledge.‘Team73’ a team captained by Sean McMahon and made up of Pat McCourt and Laurence Kenny took the honours in what proved to be a close-run competition.Club Secretary Martin Burns thanked quizmaster George Wilson for his work and thoughtfulness in providing such an entertaining and diverse quiz.A new member, Alan Nutt, was installed as a full member into the club.Long service medals, for over 30 years service, were awarded to Douglas McEwan, Charles Corser and Gordon Beetham by Chairman Malcolm Brebner.
