Fans were left begging for more after an ‘underwhelming’ season finale of the crime series, Line of Duty. The series’ central mystery was finally solved after almost a decade.

The BBC has yet to confirm if the beloved drama will return for a seventh season. And now the show’s creator has baffled fans even further with his own cryptic message on social media.

Show creator, Jed Mercurio, shared a picture of the AC-12 sign to his Twitter after the episode had aired with the caption, ‘Carry the fire’.
