Liam Fox has claimed that he is 'enjoying the heat' as Dundee United boss - despite the Tannadice outfit sitting rock bottom of the Scottish Premiership.Fox took the reigns in Tayside after Jack Ross' sacking early on in the season, with the former Hibs boss overseeing dismal losses including a 9-0 home drubbing at the hands of champions Celtic and a 7-0 thumping on the continent at AZ Alkmaar.

Fox has failed to increase their form on the whole, taking just 19 points from 20 games as the club remain below relegation rivals Ross County, Kilmarnock and Motherwell in the top-flight table.

After being knocked out by Killie in both cup competitions this season, Fox's focus is entirely on survival. And, after words from owner Mark Ogren in midweek confirmed that he would not be looking to make any significant changes at the club, Fox has admitted that he is 'enjoying the heat' at the Tangerines.

Fox said: "I knew that when I took the job. It was always going to be a difficult job. I am enjoying the heat because, if you don't enjoy the heat and enjoy the pressure, you are in the wrong job."I believe in the players and the way we are working.
