Nintendo’s latest collaboration with LEGO is a recreation of the iconic Game Boy.The Game Boy was released in Japan in 1989 before becoming a world-wide phenomenon the following year.

The handheld console launched with Tetris and Super Mario Land but also hosted classic titles like The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Donkey Kong and Pokémon Red & Blue.A reworked Game Boy Color console was released in 1998 and the handheld consoles remain one of the best-selling consoles of all time, shifting more than 118million units.To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Game Boy’s global launch, LEGO are releasing a new, buildable model of the console.
