East Kilbride boss Chris Aitken has confirmed that star Chris Erskine has left the club for at least 12 weeks as he embarks on a career in the fire service.The former Partick Thistle and Dundee United star was made captain for last night's 3-0 Lowland League win at Cumbernauld Colts - in which Erskine netted a double - but that was his last game for Kilby, at least for the time being.Aitken hopes to get Erskine back in the future, but says it's just part and parcel of part-time football.
