LeBron James has reportedly agreed to return to the Los Angeles Lakers next season under a new deal. After opting out of his last contract, the elder James is coming back on a two-year, $104 million contract that includes a player option for 2025-26 and a no-trade clause, ESPN reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
His return was expected, and now the world awaits the official debut of the NBA’s first father-son team-up. The Lakers also signed Bronny James today to his rookie contract.
That deal is a a four-year, $7.9 million deal with a team option on the fourth year, a source said to ESPN. Bronny is expected to spend most of his first season in the NBA’s G League development program.
Lebron James joins Bradley Beal of the Phoenix Suns as the only players with no-trade clauses. By providing your information, you agree to our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
