Ex-contestant Rachel Finni slated Laura's skills as she said she was 'gutted' the star was cast to host the ITV2 show. The 36-year-old Irish TV presenter appeared dumbfounded over the accusation and highlighted a toxic culture of women slamming other women.
Laura, who is married to Love Island narrator Iain, 34, has hosted the programme since January 2020 - when she took the reins from Caroline Flack, who tragically took her own life.
But Rachel, 29, discussing her time on Love Island on Murad Merali’s YouTube channel, said she'd hoped for the show to be fronted by someone else, the Mirror reports.
