02. 21), but because of the precautions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic - which saw the winners and nominees connect via video link - she left the venue immediately after presenting the night's first award, Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture, to Daniel Kaluuya for 'Judas and the Black Messiah'.

Laura shared a video on Twitter in which she praised event bosses for finding a "safe way" to produce the ceremony, which was hosted by Amy Poehler in Los Angeles and Tina Fey from New York's Rainbow Room.
