Police recovered a stolen vehicle after swarming an area near a park in Bolton. There was a large police presence on Hall Lane in Farnworth last night (Tuesday).
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have confirmed they were responding after tracing a stolen vehicle to the area. It had earlier been taken from a premises in Heywood they said.
Officers recovered the vehicle. Investigations into the incident are ongoing they added. READ MORE: Mum, 31, went on drunken 50-mile jaunt along motorway with 15-month-old son in the back of her BMW Eyewitnesses said there were a number of police vehicles parked on Hall Lane near the entrance to Moses Gate Country Park. “At around 9pm yesterday evening (Tuesday 9 August 2022), officers received reports of a stolen vehicle from a premises on Bury New Road, Heywood," a GMP spokesperson said. "Officers responded and located the stolen vehicle on Hall Lane in Bolton.
