Lanarkshire thug found guilty of brutal assault with knife and hammer

A thug was convicted of a knife and hammer attack after a reluctant witness changed her story. Lee Hamilton, 31, of Forgewood Road, Motherwell, was found guilty of assaulting his victim to his severe injury, permanent disfigurement and danger of life, and robbing him.
