Lanarkshire schools triumph in First Minister's reading challenge

Two Lanarkshire schools scooped top prizes in the national First Minister’s reading challenge.St Brendan’s Primary in Motherwell won the school and community partnership award, while Blackwood Primary in South Lanarkshire was highly commended in the same category.Both received book tokens with winners in the annual contest also receiving trophies, presented during the reading challenge festival week run by the Scottish Book Trust.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
