Police in Motherwell are appealing for the public's help after a number of wheelie bin thefts, wilful fireraisings and fly-tipping incidents..Officers working in the Newarthill area of the town are asking local residents to check CCTV footage and report any incidents following a spate of damage caused across the area in recent weeks.They are also urging people across Lanarkshire to report such incidents to Crimestoppers, or either North or South Lanarkshire Council, or to report fly tipping contact Dumb Dumpers online.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
