A Carluke man caught with £233,000 of cocaine became emotional as he was jailed for six years.David Thompson was held on July 8, 2021 after the haul was found hidden in a car outside his home in the South Lanarkshire town.

Cash was also recovered following the raid.The 41 year-old pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of the class A drug during an appearance at the High Court in Glasgow.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
