A brazen domestic abuser went to hospital for treatment after breaking his finger during a brutal attack on his girlfriend.Anthony Bucknell claimed he sustained the injury in a fall, but police officers became suspicious after seeing his battered and bruised partner.The 31-year-old admitted assaulting the woman at his home in Brown Street, Shotts, on November 27, 2021, and February 28 this year.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
