Local councils in Lanarkshire will share more than £1.5 billion in funding over the next year with progress also being made on plans for a new hospital.Under the Local Government Settlement, North Lanarkshire Council will receive £869.7 million with £805.8 million allocated to South Lanarkshire.Significant funding will be provided to support the development of the full business case for the replacement for University Hospital Monklands.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
