Lanarkshire church to host screening of King Charles III's coronation

A Lanarkshire church will be marking the coronation with a glamorous screening of the historic ceremony – plus a community volunteer event later in the special long weekend to mark the occasion.New Wellwynd in Airdrie is inviting members of the public to watch the televised coverage of King Charles III being crowned on May 6, on the large screen within the town-centre church.

The church will then be participating in The Big Help Out on the additional bank holiday Monday, May 8, by hosting a volunteering fayre where community groups can showcase their work and those interested in getting involved can sign up to help.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
