Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. A multi-award winning Coatbridge chip shop has tasted another success by claiming a hotly-contested accolade at the Scottish Italian awards.Tony’s Chip Shop in Shawhead was crowned as serving up Scotland’s best fish and chips – beating 26 other nominees from across the country to claim the coveted title.

It comes just five months after the popular chippie earned the title of Scotland’s fish and chip takeaway of the year at another industry ceremony, and adds to their growing string of national awards.
