Lamara Bell's family say £1m compo over M9 death does not make their loss easier

The family of tragic Lamara Bell have revealed their enduring heartache after Police Scotland agreed to compensate them over her death.

Her loved ones will receive over £1million in damages after the force admitted it's failings contributed to her death. The mother-of-two, 25, passed away in hospital in July 2015, a week to the day after Police Scotland ignored a call informing them her car had crashed and was down an embankment on the M9.But a spokesperson for the family has said the sums do not make dealing with losing her any easier.In a statement, released through solicitors Digby Brown, the Bell family said: "Imagine chasing answers, recognition and justice for six years and all you get is silence then in the space of three months
