Lady Gaga Is Officially Starring in the Joker Sequel
glamour.comThe Joker.Lady Gaga announced the casting in a video on her official Twitter page. Silhouettes of Phoenix and Gaga slowly dance over a red background as an instrumental version of the jazz standard “Cheek to Cheek” plays in the background.

It received 11 Oscar nominations and won two trophies: for Phoenix as well as composer Hildur Gudnadottir, who won for best score.
Phoenix won his second best actor Oscar for playing Arthur Fleck, the emotionally disturbed stand-up comedian and professional clown who eventually transforms into the titular DC villain.
