Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Kris Commons claims Celtic players have put their own "agendas" ahead of the club. The former Parkhead star insists it's clear former boss Neil Lennon wasn't the problem as the deposed Premiership champions continue to decline.

10-man Celtic were thumped 4-1 by Rangers on Sunday and an angry Commons has singled out the likes of Kristoffer Ajer and Odsonne Edouard.

He's adamant the club should never have pitched "one more year" in the doomed hunt for 10 In A Row to players who had transfer ambitions.Commons wrote in the Daily Mail: "It's now well over two months since Neil Lennon left the club and things haven't improved in the slightest."In all honesty, they're actually even worse now than what they were a few months ago.
