Kinnoull found second half form to run out comfortable 5-1 Conference B winners against Newburgh on Saturday afternoon.Nothing could separate the teams in the opening 45 minutes of the match and it was very much all to play for at Tulloch Park.But Alan Cameron’s side broke the deadlock thanks to an impressive Kyle Woolley strike - and that got the ball rolling.Mark Smith, Tony Holt, Ben Ragan and Cammy Robertson also netted to help keep the Perth side in with a sniff at the top of the table.“I felt that we started the game well enough but unfortunately we didn’t capitalise whilst on top,” Kinnoull boss Cameron told the PA.“Newburgh then started to cause us problems as the half drew to a close.“Half-time arrived at the right time and the message was to keep calm and continue to be patient and not become overly frustrated.“Thankfully we managed to score early in the second half with a wonder strike from Kyle Woolley.“Mark Smith then latched on to a lovely through ball and made no mistake.

But the third goal was the pick of the bunch.“It was a good team goal with some slick play down the right hand side before Tony Holt arrived late into the box and finished with aplomb.“Ben Ragan added a fourth with a bullet header from a corner kick and Cammy Robertson finished the scoring with a piece of individual brilliance - beating four men before calmly slotting home.”Cameron, who has his team sitting fourth in the Conference B, stressed the importance of kicking off 2022 with a win.And he added: “The manner in which we played second half was extremely pleasing.“We were delighted that the goals were coming from all over the park.
