Kerry Katona recalls the terrifying moment her ex-husband George Kay threatened to rape and "slash up" her mum during their relationship.

The former Atomic Kitten star has spoken openly about her life with convicted criminal Kay but has now revealed the extent of the abuse she endured during their marriage.

Kerry, 42, grew up seeing her mum Sue Katona abused by an ex-partner, Kerry says she "didn't know any different" but was scared during their relationship.The mother of five recalled the horrific incident where she saw her mum being stabbed by a partner, who later claimed in a vile outburst that he was Freddie Krueger.

Speaking to The Mirror, Kerry opened up about one ordeal which has been etched in her mind.Kerry and George met as teenagers when they were students at Padgate High School in Warrington and were childhood sweethearts.
