Kendrick Sampson is ready for things to change. The actor and activist is «honored» to take the stage for a powerful performance at the 2021 GRAMMYs on Sunday night — but told ET's Kevin Frazier ahead of the show that there's still more work to be done. «I see things changing, I see that they brought in Black producers.

I was brought in by Jesse Collins, which I thought was really dope. They brought in Black art, but they also need to value our art and allow us to determine the value of that art,» Sampson explained.
