Sign up to the MySalford newsletter and don't miss a thing happening in and around the city Kellogg's is encouraging its staff to take Friday afternoons off as part of a scheme to help them 'switch off' during the summer.

From this month until September, the cereal firm is offering its office-based staff at MediaCityUK the chance to finish at noon on Fridays - provided they've completed a full week's work.

The move affects almost 380 people at Kellogg’s UK's Salford premises, while a further 50 in field sales teams can take a half-day on a weekday.
