Keke Palmer Shared the Comical Way She Discovered She Was Pregnant
glamour.comso good. Since the 29-year-old announced she was expecting her first child during her Saturday Night Live monologue in December, Palmer opened up about her experience with boyfriend Darius Jackson.
Now, on an episode of her podcast, , the mother-to-be is telling the comical story of how she found out she was pregnant. Palmer took a pregnancy test on a whim, noting that the decision was casual and “random.” The test didn't immediately yield a definite answer, and, after studying a seemingly negative result, she tossed the test and didn't give it a second thought. “I didn’t have the lines on there, so I just threw it in the trash," she says.Palmer carried on with the rest of her day until her boyfriend found the pregnancy test in the trash and was surprised by the result.
While at dinner, Palmer got “a text from Darius, and he says, 'When did you take this?' And it’s a picture of the pregnancy test and it’s positive,” she recalls.
As it turns out, Palmer didn't wait long enough for the test to fully develop. “I’m like, 'I took that earlier today, like literally just some hours before I left out.' And he said, ‘Well, you better get to be drinking water in your sight.
