Everything Everywhere All At Once actor Ke Huy Quan left the Oscars audience and viewers at home in floods of tears with his winners speech.The Vietnamese-born actor, 51, triumphed in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role as Waymond Wang, the metaverse travelling husband of Joy Wang, played by Michelle Yeoh.The award was presented by last year’s Best Supporting winners Ariana de Bose and Troy Kotsur, with the former bursting into tears as she announced Quan’s name.

As he made his way to the stage, the actor – who had his first brush with fame as a child star in Indiana Jones in the 1980s – was in floods of tears and it wasn’t long before fans tuning in at home were too.
