KATIE Price fans have praised her decision to send disabled son Harvey to full-time residential college - and slammed his absent dad Dwight Yorke.

The 42-year-old star exclusively told The Sun yesterday that making the tough decision "killed her", but she wants to give him the best opportunity to forge an independent life.

Harvey, now 18, was born with a series of disabilities - including Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism, and being blind, with Katie raising him mostly as a single mother.

The pair spent six months visiting colleges for children with additional needs, with their top choice being three hours away - and will see him having his own flat on-site as he is supported by trained staff.
