Kate Walsh Reveals She's Engaged to Boyfriend Andrew Nixon!

Surprise – Kate Walsh is engaged! During an Instagram Live session with her former Private Practice co-star Amy Brenneman on Wednesday (October 5), the 54-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress accidentally revealed that she’s engaged to Andrew Nixon. Click inside to read more… Kate was chatting to Amy, 58, from her house in Perth, Australia when Andrew walked into the shot. “Here comes the jungle cat, that is my fiance,” Kate says as she turns the camera to show Andrew, who smiles and waves to the camera. “She just 100 percent outed your engagement,” Amy says to Andrew. “I did, I just outed our engagement,” Kate confirms, as Andrew adds, “Aww.” Throughout the entire Live session Kate kept showing showing off her new engagement ring.

According to The Daily Mail, Kate and Andrew started dating at the very beginning of the coronavirus pandemic back in early 2020 after reportedly meeting on a cruise. Kate then re-located to Australia to quarantine with Andrew, who is part of the Nixon Farming, a family farming enterprise in Australia. Kate has gone back and forth from Australia to Los Angeles to film Grey’s Anatomy.

This will be the second marriage to for Kate, who was married to ex Alex Young from 2007 to 2010. Congrats to the happy couple! Also pictured inside: Kate Walsh and Andrew Nixon enjoying a day at the beach back in January.
