(Not coincidentally, in Fife, and Kate Middleton has often worn plaid during visits to the country over the years.) The color felt especially fitting after the couple’s first official event in Boston ended with the mayor lighting the city’s landmarks green.
The couple is in the U.S. for the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony on Friday, which will honor five environmentalists selected by a council that includes Prince William and Sir David Attenborough.
