Kate Middleton is known for keeping in shape with regular exercise and a healthy balanced diet, including her go-to lunch dish of watermelon salad.

So it came as a surprise when the Princess of Wales revealed during a recent chat with a 109-year-old nursing home resident that they shared a favourite food - kidneys.

The 41 year old royal was on a solo engagement at the Oxford Nursing Home in Slough when she got chatting to Nora, alongside her grandchildren Lynne and John.

Princess Kate was captured on film chatting to Nora, who celebrated her 109th birthday on 7 January, two days before Kate's birthday.
