It's been a while since we have seen The Duchess of Cambridge make a public appearance, but after making her first appearance since July last week, we got to see Kate Middleton step out once again.

Normally we're treated to one amazing outfit, however for Kate's visit to Windermere, Cumbria, we saw two looks and naturally each one provided our usual outfit envy.

On Tuesday, the mum-of-three sported her go-to black skinny jeans from Frame with her essential off-duty trekking boots from See by Chloe.

Then to dress appropriately for each occasion, Kate made a swift yet stylish change from a khaki jacket to a chic checked one, which gave us a lesson in how to dress up an outfit with simply changing your outerwear.
