Kate Garraway's husband Derek Draper 'hit with more issues' in long Covid battle

After being in an induced coma for months, Kate was devastatingly told her husband might not survive before she was given huge hope when he came round.His battle has continued though, and while he is now at home with his family, he still has a long battle ahead of him as he continues to suffer from long Covid.He is one of the longest-affected coronavirus patients in the whole of the UK, and while he returned home earlier this year, Derek is still very unwell.Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Monday, Kate gave an update on Derek's health and his fight to recover from the virus.She explained that there are more issues becoming apparent.
