Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway interrupted Emily Thornberry's attack on Boris Johnson this morning to correct her.
Ms Thornberry brutally slammed the Prime Minister after reports surfaced that Downing Street staff held two leaving parties in No10 the night before Prince Phillip's funeral.
Labour's Shadow Attorney General said that the latest accusation of parties at Downing Street "crosses the line" as they didn't think the laws applied to them anymore.She said: "I think the reason they were having not one party but two parties that night, and the reason they had lost their heads was because the culture had developed at No 10 where it was thought that the laws didn't apply to them."That culture was set by the first few months of the pandemic where there were parties and there continued to be parties and the Prime Minister would turn up."They felt they were gods, above the rest of us.
