The 63-year-old singer’s music is going through a resurgence thanks to being featured in the newest season of Stranger Things, and now, it’s been revealed that her music was almost in Thor: Love and Thunder, too! Click inside to read more… According to Christian Bale, who stars as villain Gorr the God Butcher, revealed to Total Film magazine, via Deadline, that her music was almost part of the soundtrack for the flick.
The actor shared that director Taika Waititi planned a dance scene inspired by and set to Kate‘s music, but that was axed. “Taika and I wanted to do a whole dance, which we didn’t get to do, but we had all this sort of Kate Bush stuff that we worked at,” Christian recalled.
He added, “I think he just realized he was never going to be allowed to put that in the final film. I would say that the most common thing I was staring at [while preparing for the role] was the Aphex Twin video of ‘Come to Daddy’.
But I don’t even know if that will be in the final film.” Earlier this week, Kate broke a record on the charts that was held for a very long time by Cher!
