Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has responded to calls for a circuit-breaker in the Premier League amid a rise of positive cases across clubs.
The MEN have reported today (Friday) that some clubs are pushing for the English top-flight halted — as Eddie Howe and Thomas Frank have suggested — and the German says he's not against the idea, though admitted he doesn't "see the 100 per cent benefit".
Klopp was without Fabinho, Virgil van Dijk and Curtis Jones for Liverpool's 3-1 win over Newcastle on Thursday, as the news of their positive Covid tests were disclosed as team news was announced.
