Johnny Depp
John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, singer, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008), and has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor, among other accolades. He is regarded as one of the world's biggest film stars. Depp made his film debut in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street (1987–1990). He had a supporting role in Oliver Stone's 1986 war film Platoon and played the title character in the 1990 romantic fantasy Edward Scissorhands.

Mads Mikkelsen has revealed some news that Johnny Depp fans will be happy to hear. The 56-year-old actor, who replaced Johnny in the Fantastic Beasts franchise as Gellert Grindelwald, said there’s a possibility that the fan-fave actor will return to the role.

During an appearance at the Sarajevo Film Festival this week, Mads talked about the pressure of being Johnny‘s replacement and what the future of the franchise looks like. Click inside to check out his comments… “It was very intimidating,” Mads said about stepping into the role (via Deadline). “Obviously, well, now the course has changed—he won the suit, the court [case]—so let’s see if he comes back.

He might,” Mads admitted. He continued, “I’m a big fan of Johnny. I think he’s an amazing actor, I think he did a fantastic job.

Having said that, I could not copy it. There’s there was no way I could just copy it, because it’s so much him. It would be creative suicide.
