Elton John
Sir Elton Hercules John CH CBE (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight; 25 March 1947) is an English singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer. He has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin since 1967; they have collaborated on more than 30 albums. John has sold more than 300 million records, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists. He has more than fifty Top 40 hits, as well as seven consecutive number-one albums in the United States, 58 Billboard Top 40 singles, 27 Top 10 singles, four of which peaked at number two and nine of which reached number one. His tribute single "Candle in the Wind 1997", rewritten in dedication to Diana, Princess of Wales, sold over 33 million copies worldwide and is the best-selling single in the history of the UK and US singles charts. He has also produced records and occasionally acted in films. John owned Watford F.C. from 1976 to 1987 and from 1997 to 2002, and is an honorary life president of the club.
Ana De-Armas
Ana Celia de Armas Caso (born 30 April 1988) is a Cuban actress. She began her career as a teenager in her native Cuba and most notably had a leading role in the romantic drama Una rosa de Francia (2006). At the age of 18, she moved to Madrid, Spain and starred in the popular teen drama El Internado for six seasons from 2007 to 2010. After moving to Los Angeles, de Armas had English-speaking roles in the horror film Knock Knock (2015) and the crime drama War Dogs (2016). She had a supporting role in the sports biopic Hands of Stone (2016).

‘John Wick’ spin-off ‘Ballerina’ drops Elton John-backed first trailer

Ballerina, a John Wick spin-off film, has been released – watch it below.Ballerina is the first feature-length spin-off film set in the John Wick universe, following the spin-off series The Continental.

The upcoming film stars Ana de Armas as Eve Macarro, a ballerina who is trained to be an assassin in hopes of avenging the death of her family.The trailer – which is aptly backed by Elton John‘s ‘Tiny Dancer’ – sees the return of several faces including Ian McShane’s Winston and the late Lance Reddick‘s Charon, who take in a young Macarro and begin training her to be an assassin.The film is set after the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, with Macarro seeking revenge agains the people who killed her family.

The end of the trailer also sees Keanu Reeves‘ John Wick returning, though the extent of his role in the film remains unknown.Watch the trailer for Ballerina below.Ballerina is due to hit cinemas in the UK on June 6, 2025.While the upcoming film marks Ana de Armas’ introduction to the John Wick universe, it will be the second time the character of Eve Maccaro appears in the franchise.

Macarro first appeared in Parabellum, but was then portrayed by American ballet dancer Unity Phelan.Ballerina marks the fifth John Wick film, and the first since 2023’s John Wick: Chapter 4.
