John Souttar's Rangers transfer sees coffee shop bombarded with negative reviews as Hearts fans troll defender

Raging Hearts fans have targeted John Souttar’s coffee shop with negative reviews following his pre-contract agreement with Rangers.

A section of the Tynecastle support are up in arms over his decision to join the Scottish Premiership champions on a free transfer.

And some fans have even taken to slaughtering his new business venture in a bid to get at the 25-year-old defender.Scotland stopper Souttar recently revealed how he trained as a barista when he feared injuries - including three Achilles problems -might end his playing career early.

The Hearts defender has had horrendous luck with injuries and he had to consider life without football. That then saw him open up Maison Dieu Coffee Roasters in Brechin, Angus, with partner Kayley and former team-mate Euan Spark.Souttar said: “The idea came after the relapse of my second Achilles injury.“It was a time when I had to be honest and say to myself: ‘I might need to do something else.’Kayley is able to spend time here and, because it’s in Brechin, our families can come along.“It just brings everyone together, that’s something we want to do here.
