Walsh, and writer Nicole Holofcener. The Last Duel focuses in on the true story of Marguerite de Carrouges, who claimed she was raped by her husband’s best friend, Jacque Le Gris.
But when no one believes her accusation, her husband challenges his friend to a duel, the last legally sanctioned duel in the country’s history.
