Kevin Darnell Hart (born July 6, 1979) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and producer. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Hart began his career by winning several amateur comedy competitions at clubs throughout New England, culminating in his first real break in 2001 when he was cast by Judd Apatow for a recurring role on the TV series Undeclared. The series lasted only one season, but he soon landed other roles in films such as Paper Soldiers (2002), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Soul Plane (2004), In the Mix (2005), and Little Fockers (2010).

James Christian Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC on January 26, 2003 at Hollywood Masonic Temple in Hollywood, California; and on April 1, 2019, at a secondary home, the Zappos Theater on the Las Vegas Strip. Kimmel hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 and 2016, and the Academy Awards in 2017 and 2018.

Jimmy Kimmel Contracts COVID-19, Reveals 'Live!' Guest Host

Jimmy Kimmel has tested positive for COVID-19 and he has his 7-year-old daughter to thank. The host revealed on Monday that the show will not air, due to his diagnosis.“Our daughter brought us Covid (even though we specifically asked her not to) All feeling fine, I am double vaxxed and boosted but the show must not go on,” the 54-year-old tweeted. “Apologies to @tomcruise & @iliza and thanks to Mike Birbiglia @birbigs who will be filling in for me starting tomorrow night.”  Kimmel will be at home with his wife, Molly McNearney and their two children, Jane, 7, and 5-year-old son, Billy.

Filing in for the host, in his absence, will be comedian Mike Birbiglia, who took to the comments to offer well-wishes.  «I must be the first person to ever deplane a Southwest Airlines flight and find out they're guest-hosting a late night talk show,» the comedian wrote in a tweet. «Sending love to the Kimmels.
