Jeremy Renner‘s first TV interview since his snow plow accident just aired on ABC and new details about the terrifying experience have been revealed.

The 52-year-old Oscar-nominated actor chatted with Diane Sawyer and discussed what happened in the moments before the accident, which occurred on New Year’s Day in Nevada. Jeremy and his 27-year-old nephew Alex were using the snow plow to tow a Ford Raptor out of the snow and after they successfully completed the task, Alex disconnected the chain between the two vehicles.
