Alex Trebek was the beloved face of "Jeopardy!" for decades, and he left some big shoes to fill after his death from pancreatic cancer.

Once "Jeopardy!" tapped former champion Ken Jennings as host, they also added "The Big Bang Theory" star Mayim Bialik after she was a guest host for Season 37.

Since the two began, they've been receiving backlash from fans of the game show, who have been very outspoken on social media.

So much so that the show’s executive producer Michael Davies has weighed in on the criticism. "This show is so hard to host," Davies said during an interview with Vulture. "Alex made it his own… I do read everything, and look, the strongest thing we’ve got is the passion of our fans.

Takeoff’s Suspected Killer Indicted on Murder Charge

Thania Garcia The man accused of shooting rapper Takeoff was indicted for murder by a Harris County grand jury on May 25, according to the county’s District Attorney’s Office. Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, was arrested in Houston last December after police connected him to Takeoff’s (real name: Kirsnik Khari Ball) murder on Nov. 1. Takeoff was shot and killed at a bowling alley in downtown Houston where he and Quavo, his uncle and Migos bandmate, were playing dice at around 2:30 a.m. that night. Shortly after Clark was arrested, Sgt. Michael Burrow said Takeoff was an “innocent bystander” of the argument that led to his shooting death. Clark was later released on a $1 million bond in January.

‘Feathers’ Director Omar El Zohairy to Helm English-Language Drama ‘Mammals’

Nick Vivarelli International Correspondent Egyptian director Omar El Zohairy, whose absurdist social satire “Feathers” won the Cannes Critics’ Week prize in 2021 and went on to make a major splash, is set to helm “Mammals,” an English-language drama that will be a reflection on Western capitalism and family ties. El Zohairy’s sophomore film, which will feature still unspecified actors from different countries, is being co-written by the buzzed-about auteur with British Egyptian writer-director Mohamed Adeeb, who wrote the hit Egyptian TV series “Bimbo,” directed by Amr Salama. “Mammals” is partly inspired by the biography of El Zohairy’s father, who died in 2016 in the United States, where he was an immigrant living under difficult conditions. In the film, a young man visits his distant father in one of the world’s most lavish resorts. When he arrives there he discovers that, unbeknownst to him, his father has locked him into a business deal that he cannot reject. The young man rebels, but also starts to like his new life and eventually loses his sanity.
