Jennifer Garner Tears Up While Touring Palisades Fire Destruction, Reveals One of Her Friends Died in Fire

The Alias actress caught up with MSNBC on Friday (January 10) while touring the destruction with Chef Jose Andres, who is feeding the victims and first responders with World Central Kitchen. “I’ve lived in and around the Palisades for 25 years, so I just think all of us, we want to get our hands into working, somehow, to be helpful,” Jennifer said. “And because of my work with Save The Children, we have a relationship with the chef, and I was able to just say, ‘Can I be with you for the day?
What can I do to help? Put me to work.’ ” Jennifer told anchor Katy Tur that one of her friends from church tragically died in the fires and she knows at least 100 people who have lost their homes.
