The Jenners building, which was gutted by fire in Edinburgh, has been turned into a shrine to the hero firefighter who lost his life during the call out.Barry Martin, 38, passed away on Friday as a result of injuries he sustained while heroically trying to battle the blaze.
And scores of tributes have now been left in his honour outside the city centre building. Dozens of flowers and messages have been left next to the fence around the historic Princes Street property.
A huge homemade sign was also left at the site. The cardboard message, which is attached to the fence, reads: "God bless our firefighters and keep them safe".
As reported by our sister title, Edinburgh Live, many of the flower bouquets left at the shrine have messages attached to them.Heartbroken members of the public have thanked Barry and other firefighters for risking their lives to keep them safe.
