Jason Sudeikis is already reminscing about the final days of Ted Lasso. While fans are holding out hope that a fourth season might be underway, the 47-year-old star and co-creator of the show has previously said that the series was only meant to be three seasons long.

In a new interview with EW, Jason is talking about what the last day of filming was like for him and many others. Keep reading to find out more… Jason shared that despite the hopes, the cast and crew treated the final day of filming like the series finale. “I mean, it was lovely,” he shared with the outlet. “It was a scene in the locker room, and then everybody piled in there, it was jam-packed, which our COVID team was very anxious about, understandably.” Jason added that there were a “lot of tears, lot of cheers, lot of clapping.

It felt like an actual sports team after their final game, but without really knowing if we’d won or lost, which as Ted says is really not the most important thing, so in many ways we won.” “There was just this feeling, like a call to arms, to take whatever we made here, and however we made it there, to bring that to wherever any of us go next.” Coach Beard actor Brendan Hunt added that it wasn’t just the filming cast and crew who were there, but everyone involved in the show, who was on set that day. “Everyone came in to the locker room,” he says. “So, not just team, and not just the crew, but people from the offices, and people from parts of crews that aren’t actually on set.

It felt like this was their locker room, like we were the first time together in this room as the whole team.” Brendan added that “it was a great moment of connection.
