SPFL clubs hope that normality is not far away. Clubs such as Aberdeen are lobbying desperately to get more fans into grounds but the Scottish Government are refusing to budge, with supporters only permitted in tier zero and one areas.

Currently that's only good news for teams on the very northern and southern edges of Scotland such as Inverness and Queen of the South, with attendances capped at 300 spectators.

A card bearing proof of having received the jab could be fans' ticket back into stadia however and Leitch told the BBC's Off The Ball: "The vaccine passport concept is a good one but we don't know enough if it's going to help us."Vaccine passports may well be a thing.
