Janey Godley told she has stage three ovarian cancer following hysterectomy

Janey Godley says she is in shock after being told she has stage three ovarian cancer following her hysterectomy. The news means Janey's cancer has spread beyond her ovaries and will now require further treatment.

Stage 3b means there are cancer growths 2cm or smaller in size on the lining of the abdomen and there may also be cancer in the lymph nodes.

It is classed as advanced ovarian cancer and main treatments are surgery and chemotherapy.Janey is currently staying with a friend while she recuperates from surgery she underwent earlier this month.And she told her followers on Instagram that she felt 'really vulnerable and frightened' upon hearing the news.In a video she said: "Well, I've been through the hysterectomy and I'm staying at my friend Shirley's.
