Janey Godley has said that it felt "amazing" being back on stage for the first time since her cancer diagnosis.The Scots comedian, 62, kicked off her 'Not Dead Yet' tour last night (Wednesday) in Arbroath and was joined by her comic daughter Ashley Storrie.Ahead of her performance, Janey told fans yesterday that this would be the "last tour of this life" after confirming in December that her ovarian cancer had returned following the all-clear last summer.
Shortly after the gig, she posted on social media, saying: "First time onstage on tour after the cancer diagnosis and it was amazing, yes it’s being filmed as well!
Thanks Arbroath."In a post on Twitter this morning, with a selfie attached, she added: "Look at the rosy cheeks! The show went great last night was so bloody good to get back onstage - I could hardly sleep for the adrenaline rush - thanks to everyone supporting me so far."And many of her fans were delighted, with one commenting: "Had the best time tonight @JaneyGodley @ashleystorrie you both were brilliant."Another replied: "Fabulous, hilarious Janey.
