Jamie Carragher believes Manchester City's winless run has Pep Guardiola looking "human" for the first time in his managerial career - as he insisted a defeat at Anfield this weekend be the end of their Premier League title challenge.
City are winless in all competitions since defeating Southampton 1-0 in the Premier League on October 26, with Guardiola enduring five consecutive defeats for the first time in his glittering managerial career.
In that time, City - winners of the last four Premier League titles - have fallen eight points behind Arne Slot's Liverpool, who has won 11 of his 12 league matches since succeeding Jurgen Klopp in the summer. Writing in his Telegraph column, Carragher said: "Pep Guardiola has achieved so much in his managerial career that there was one milestone that looked beyond him.
